How is a compensation panel maintained?
1. Manually activate all capacitors.
2. Measure phase currents:
- 400V: kVAr × 1.44 (e.g., 20 kVAr → 28.8 A)
- 450V: 20,000 / (450 × 1.73) = 25.6 A
- 525V: 20,000 / (1.73 × 525) = 22.02 A
3. In filtered systems, monitor regularly to avoid resonance.
