What could be the reason of encountering “overpower factor correction warning” while installing RG Series single phase power factor controller?

Altough  the current transformer ratios are selected correctly via the power factor controller, if excessive power factor correction warning is encountered, the secondary (k and l) ends of the current transformer may be reversed. Current transformer secondary (k and l) ends should be reconnected and replaced.
